Jessica has worked for Angels in some capacity for 20 years.  She has worked in every major functional area of the Company, including sales, recruiting, scheduling, revenue cycle management, finance, payor relations, and compliance.  This vast swath of experience provides her a comprehensive understanding of the pediatric home health business.  She was appointed CEO of Angels in 2013 and has driven the Company through a period of extraordinary growth while investing heavily in infrastructure, processes and systems.  Key accomplishments, among many, during her tenure as CEO include: 

• Growing revenue from $56 million to over $300 million

• Growing the number of locations from 11 to 40. 

• Growing the number of patients served from approximately 900 to over 5,000

• Growing the number of employees from approximately 1,300 to over 7,000

• Expanding services provided from 1 state to 7 

• Building key relationships with the leaders of the managed care organizations and transitioning them into valued partners

• Expanding organically into several key markets by identifying the access to care needs, analyzing market rates, establishing value based arrangements, communicating HALOS values, developing key influential relationships, and strategically establishing a presence in the medically fragile community.  

• Acquiring several pediatric home health agencies and successfully integrating them into the AOC operations, as well as solidifying the AOC presence in those markets through these acquisitions. 

• Building out the management team and other support services infrastructure. 

• Professionalizing processes across all major functional areas by creating seamless standard operating procedures and processes as well as automating processes across the agency.  

 

Jessica graduated from Texas Women’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Grayson College with an associate degree in Nursing and is a licensed Registered Nurse.  Jessica is highly involved with the home care associations and ensures that the Company is at the forefront of an ever-changing industry.  Jessica is deeply involved in the medically fragile kids’ community, and she advocates for patients by partnering with key organizations across the nation.
