Ann Mary Ferrie serves as VNS Health’s Director of Strategy & Public Policy. In her role, she advances the organization’s policy interests particularly at the federal and state levels, assesses policy trends, and leverages relationships and insights within the industry to drive new strategic expansion opportunities. Prior to joining VNS Health, Ann Mary served as a program officer at the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS). In this role, she worked on initiatives related to integrating care for individuals dually enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid, through financial alignment demonstrations, Medicare Advantage Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs), and managed long-term services and support (MLTSS) programs. She provided direct technical assistance to states and strategic learning collaborative support to states and health plans. She also has experience with both the National Academy of Social Insurance and the Division of Aging at the State of New Jersey. She earned a master's in public health and a certificate in health policy analysis from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health and a bachelor's degree in biology and sociology from The College of New Jersey.
