BAYADA Home Health Care

Vice President Payer Contracting & Strategy

Matt Lippitt

Matt Lippitt is the Vice President and Division Director of Payor Contracting and Strategic Partnerships at BAYADA Home Health Care, a $1.7 billion global industry leader with a clear strategic vision of home as the stable center of the health care continuum. Founded in Philadelphia, PA in 1975, BAYADA provides nursing, rehabilitative, therapeutic, hospice, and assistive care services to children, adults, and seniors in the comfort of their homes. With hundreds of office locations throughout the U.S., as well as Germany, India, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Korea, BAYADA is a leading nonprofit home health care provider and the only national provider to offer a full range of home-based specialty care services.

For the first time in home health care, BAYADA completed its transition from a privately held business to a nonprofit organization on January 1, 2019—a decision by its Founder and Chairman Mark Baiada to help ensure that the company would never be sold, and that its mission, vision, beliefs, and core values of compassion, excellence, and reliability—codified in The BAYADA Way—will endure for generations to come. Families and individuals coping with significant illness or disability need help and support, and it is BAYADA’s mission to help people have a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity.

Mr. Lippitt is passionate about designing and delivering services that enable clients to remain safely at home with maximum independence, while also demonstrating improved clinical and financial outcomes. He is responsible for the enterprise-wide managed Medicaid strategy and oversees payer negotiations across all BAYADA practices.

Mr. Lippitt joined BAYADA in 2017 as Director of Strategy & Value-Based Partnerships for the Assistive Care State Programs practice, where he designed and successfully launched the practice’s first value-based relationship. This initiative enables the most vulnerable and underserved community members to remain safely at home with maximum independence. This has led to reduced hospitalizations, readmissions, ER visits, and a significant reduction in the total cost of care.

Prior to joining BAYADA, Mr. Lippitt spent over 10 years working as a healthcare executive in New York City, where he focused on helping companies develop business strategies and design new products and services that deliver value to both care recipients and payors. He holds a bachelor's degree from Lehigh University and a Master of Health Services Administration from George Washington University.

He resides in Warren Township, New Jersey with his wife Marci, son Max, and daughters Jaime, and Charlotte.  Matt enjoys spending his time at the beach, fishing, skiing, and gardening.
