Amanda Lothrop serves as the Chief Operating Officer of New York’s Medicaid program where she focuses on driving strategic change and identifying innovative opportunities to better meet Medicaid members and providers where they are. With her MBA from Kellogg School of Management and her actuarial credentials, Amanda brings a unique blend of core actuarial experience and innovative healthcare policy efforts. Before joining the State of New York, Amanda spent 15 years at Deloitte Consulting, focusing on healthcare transformation and value based payment advancement across plans, providers, and state and federal government. Amanda’s passion is helping public and private organizations reform their healthcare infrastructure and solve their most complex policy and financial strategy challenges to better enable members to be the healthiest they can be.
